XL AEDEM International Annual Meeting

• All authors of papers must be registered before the deadline in order to be included in the program and minutes of the Conference.
• All attendees may register until April 20, 2026.
• Registration after the deadline will incur a 25% surcharge on general fees, and will only be possible subject to availability of capacity in the spaces reserved for the event.

To register for the 2026 AEDEM International Annual Meeting, it is necessary to complete the following steps (you must first enter your username and password on the AEDEM website):

1. Complete the registration form (in Registration - Registration Form).
2. Send the data provided in the form ("send data" button).

Authors may choose one of the following publication options, in electronic format, for their work:

• AEDEM Abstracts: only the summary of the works will be published in their corresponding book of abstracts.
• AEDEM Proceedings: both the abstract and the completed paper will be published in the corresponding book of minutes.

Failure to comply with these regulations implies the immediate elimination of work (on the Congress website you will find all the necessary information for the registration and payment of the corresponding fees).

Papers must be submitted through the private zone, http://www.redaedem.org/areaprivada/. To do this, you must enter with username and password, access the Works area and enter the title of the work, the authors, the area of knowledge, the prize or prizes to which the work is a candidate, and the attached work following the format required.

It will be necessary to upload two documents to the web:

1. Manuscript (anonymous) with the complete article, omitting the authors' data and any other information that allows their identification. Template Manuscript_2026.docx 
2. Manuscript complete with names. Using the same format as above.
3. Abstract, including only the summary of the work and keywords, as well as the identification data of the authors. Template Abstract _2026.docx 

Work in progress: in the case of work in progress, the following template and format should be used: Template of Work in progress.docx. 

Acceptance and subsequent submission of a Work in Progress must adhere to the following requirements:

1. Respect the Template of Work in progress.docx  format.
2. To make a sufficiently detailed description of the Design and Methodology section of the study; in addition to a section of References that support the state of the art of the subject matter of the research.
3. Develop the sections of the template with a maximum length of 2,000 words and a minimum of 1,500 words.
4. Send the completed template to the Works in Progress area of the Congress management platform.
5. Three files will be uploaded to the platform: one with the template and the data of the signatory authors, another with the anonymous template and a third file only with the Abstract-Abstract and data of the signatory authors.
6. The presentation of the paper at the Congress must adhere to the development of the proposal specified in the template.
7. No work in progress is eligible for prizes.
8. Once the work has been presented at the Congress sessions, the Abstract-Abstract of the Work in Progress will be published in the proceedings.

Final Degree Projects (TFG/TFM): in the case of a final degree project, the three files to be uploaded are:

1. Abstract in the corresponding template, indicating the name of the student and their Supervisor/Advisor (Template Final Degree Projects (TFG-TFM).docx).
2. Anonymous Summary using the same previous format, omitting the author and supervisory details, as well as any other information that would permit their identification.
3. It is not necessary to upload the complete project. Instead, this section requires the upload of the certificate or supporting document confirming the project's defense, and the grade awarded by the examining committee for the defense of the work.
   Once the project has been presented at the Conference sessions, the Abstract of the Final Degree Project (TFG/TFM) will be published in the proceedings.

Doctoral Colloquium: in the case of a Doctoral Colloquium, the three files to be uploaded are:

1. Abstract in the corresponding template, indicating the name of the PhD Student (Template of Doctoral Colloquium.docx).
2. Anonymous Summary using the same previous format, omitting the author and supervisory details, as well as any other information that would permit their identification.
3. Research Plan with the following specifications (Research plan (Doctoral Colloquium).docx).
   Once the project has been presented at the Conference sessions, the Abstract of the Research Plan will be published in the proceedings.

Work format: 

• The writing of the text must be done and sent in Microsoft Word format.
• The works may not exceed 10,000 words or 18 pages (including graphs, tables, tables and bibliographic references).
• They may be presented in Spanish, English or Portuguese.
• A4 written in simple and justified space.
• Margins: 2.5 centimetres upper and lower and 3 centimetres left and right (normal margin of Microsoft Word).
• Typeface: Garamond; body 12 for texts; body 14 and bold for job title; body 12 and bold for titles and headings; and body 8 for footnotes.
• The header in capital letters and bold.
• Space after each heading.
• The thanks will appear at the end of the text before the bibliographical references.
• Bibliographical references will appear at the end of the text.
• It is recommended not to use footnotes.
• Tables and texts in definitive formats and inserted in the text.

*Working papers can also be submitted. In this case the authors must send the work in progress. However, in order to be eligible for the congress awards it is mandatory to have a completed paper, therefore, works in progress are not eligible.

• For the presentation to be accepted, all the speakers must be registered in the Conference.
• In each area, priority is given to Works in Progress that demonstrate more advanced methodological development and results within the corresponding template.
