European Research on Management and Business Economics (ERMBE)

28 de June de 2023

Dear Author,

A key factor for any researchers is achieving the broadest dissemination possible of our academic outputs. Please, let remember that the higher or lower citations of our papers is not only related with their quality but also with its visibility: diffusion of the journal, open access, journal impact and databases inclusion, and so on.

With this idea in mind, we have worked hard during the last few years to include European Research on Management and Business Economics (ERMBE) in the top journal indexing databases and to achieve a good position in the most-known journal's impact indexes.

ERMBE has obtained an Impact Factor for 2021 of 4.750, which places European Research on Management and Business Economics in the first quartile, specifically in position #57/379 within Economics category (see Fig. 1).

A few days ago, CiteScore 2022 has just been released and European Research on Management and Business Economics has increased from 9.3 in 2021 to 9.8. A positive result considering that the number of articles published has increased compared to the previous calculation period (see Fig. 2).

We are confident to maintain this outstanding position among Spanish and international scientific journals, but we need your support to achieve this goal. Therefore, we ask you to give the widest possible dissemination of the articles you have published in ERMBE and, also, to other articles that appear in the journal, especially those published in the last two or three years, which are the ones with the greatest effect on the calculation of these impact indexes.

To increase the impact and diffusion of your and other articles published in ERMBE you can carry out some simple actions such as:

  • Disseminate and share your work using repositories and social networks, especially those, such as LinkedIn or ResearchGate, where there is a greater possibility of reaching those who can cite your work.
  • Include your articles in reference managers such as Mendeley, Endnote, Zotero, Refworks, etc. as they can help you to reach a larger number of authors while facilitating the citation process.
  • Cite the articles you have published in ERMBE in your new papers and propose, as reviewer, to cite them in papers from other journals; pay special attention to those articles that have been published in recent years.

We would like to finish this email thanking for you to use and cite the articles published and for working on the increasing visibility of ERMBE, so we can maintain these good results in the future. We are sure these actions will also allow you to increase your impact as a researcher. Thank you for your support!!

Best regards,
