The European Journal of Management and Business Economics obtains a 2* score in the AJG2024
We are delighted to announce that AEDEM's European Journal of Management and Business Economics has recently been rated as a 2* academic journal in the British Academic Journal Guide — in fact, on its very first appearance, in the recent 2024 version. This clearly indicates the high quality of the academic work published in EJMBE and marks the way forward for the journal. A 2* rating in the AJG means that a journal is internationally recognised for its originality, significance and rigour.
As editor-in-chief, I thank AEDEM for its continued support, our publisher Emerald, the editorial team and associate editors, the advisory board, our reviewers and all the authors who chose EJMBE as a preferred outlet for their best research work.
The Academic Journal Guide (formerly ABS) is a list of British academic journals that ranks business journals on a scale from 1* to 4+ or 5*. A scientific committee decides the rankings and then an academic committee decides the committee's recommendations for each journal. The ranking is of particular interest in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Portugal and other Anglo-Saxon countries.
